This kit assesses compound-based disruption of Bcl2L1-Bax binding via detection of Bax levels. This product uses EFC technology. The cell line included overexpresses Bcl2L1 target in an untagged form and Bax binding partner fused to ProLabel. When a compound engages the Bcl2L1 target protein, partner binding is disrupted and the destabilized Bax is degraded, leading to a loss of EFC signal upon addition of EA containing detection reagent.
